The sewn round sling is constructed of kernmantle material. The tightly braided polyester sheath provides abrasion resistance and adds stiffness to the sling, making it easier to create threads and producing a strong clamping force when used as a prusik sling. The HMPE core is exceptionally strong and offers excellent permanent flexural strength. This sling is particularly stiff and ideal for threading applications. The 120 cm version is especially suitable for use as a prusik sling, with a width of 6 mm and a minimum breaking strength of 22 kN. It is certified to meet EN 354 and EN 566 standards.
